Soul Flutes have a hidden dimension: The slow air chamber, (that’s the area between the mouthpiece and the nest), has a much larger volume than the usual. Then there’s the brass inlays. The bright, bold metal contrasts wonderfully with the dark wood - which is ebonised walnut.
This individual pictured is the first of its kind built and is in Eb. This model is available in the lowest keys only, from F down to D.
