High D Hijaz in Ancient Kauri 432hz
This is a unique build made from a small length of ancient kauri (circa 40,000 years old).
It is tuned to the hijaz scale @ 432hz (aka double harmonic, byzantine etc…)
Both the 2nd and 6th are flattened, which sets the exotic, middle-eastern tone.
The octave is available with the thumb hole on the back of the body.
To complement the precious wood, a cabochon of pounamu is embedded in the nest.
