‘Fancy’ here means: ‘fine, elegant, ornamental’, (as opposed to plain).

I just wanted to show this tooter which was made for Barry, a few months ago.

Body - Rosewood. It may be a truism that everything is better in rosewood. I can’t get enough of it.

Truncated nest - burned maple. Yes, fire was run over it when still in the rough state.

Copper rings - I like that they appear to be ligatures here.

There’s something about the look that evokes the Elizabethan period. I’d like to develop this in future.
